Cookies are used on the website for our own internal purposes, to track how users navigate through the website. This helps me to evaluate and improve the website and my online services.
We use information derived from cookies in order to:
- compile statistics on how our website is being used, which can help us to improve the website and online services.
facilitate users’ ability to navigate through the website.
- ascertain whether the website is operating effectively.
- personalise and improve the service we offer you by understanding your preferences and establishing which areas of the website are most relevant to you.

As part of the registration process for ongoing communication from me, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, Constant Contact, to deliver newsletters and mailings. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help me monitor and improve my mailings. For more information, please see Constant Contact’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing Mike Allison, who is the Data Protection officer (DPO)
