Radio Tracking and Telemetry Training

The capture of escaped animals in the wild requires highly specialised skills and equipment to locate and recover the animal within the time constraints dictated by drug characteristics and animal flight distances.  Where animals are close to scrub land, woodlands or undulating ground they can quickly move to areas that are difficult to search. This is where the use of radio tracking technology is crucial for the safe and humane recovery of immobilised animals.

This course teaches you what equipment you will need to deliver this service, and how to use it in a variety of environments and circumstances.
